Building our software with heartware, is Dung, our Developer

Tell us a little about yourself!
I’m Nguyen Quoc Dung and I am a Senior Frontend Developer at LittleLives. I’d say I’m a funny guy, though I may be a little shy in front of huge groups of people at first. I also love to travel and try various cuisines!
What did you do before joining LittleLives?
A little different from what I do now – I used to work in an insurance company, and also used to run an online men’s fashion store!
Why did you join LittleLives?
I wanted to challenge myself to understand children and the early childhood sector. I’ve since learned much here and my teammates have become a second family.
Any tips for someone who wants to do what you do?
For me, communication is key. Be open to asking and discussing things with your team.
- Talk when you think you cannot complete the task before a deadline
- Talk when you think you need help
- Talk when you want to clarify something
- Don't work alone when you can work in a team
What has been your favorite / most meaningful project in LittleLives to date?
It would be every time I complete a whole project, as each one is unique and a core memory.
What are some common challenges that Developers face at work?
I remember a project which our client requested to be completed in half the time it’d take me! However, my two team members and I managed to completed it well, and that’s something I’m very proud of.
