Tell us a little about yourself!

Have a nice day everyone! I'm Ngoc, a Storyteller from LittleLives. I enjoy every day I work at LittleLives as I have a chance to come up with creative ideas and tackle new challenges too. ^^

What did you do before joining LittleLives?

I used to work in a non-governmental organization, in a role also related to Communications and public relations. This gave me the opportunity to work on projects with varied marketing plans and stretch my creativity. Besides that, I had a short stint working in a preschool as well, where I learned about the needs and objectives of the early childhood education sector, which is knowledge I can apply in my job at LittleLives.

Why did you join LittleLives? And more importantly, why did you stay in LittleLives?

It was to challenge myself! Prior to joining LittleLives, I was also considering an offer from a large company in Vietnam, quite a different experience from LittleLives, a start-up. I eventually decided to join LittleLives with the goal of challenging myself to experience the dynamism and unique challenges of a young and fast-growing company.

I definitely have faced challenges working here in terms of the occasional language barrier, and having to juggle multiple tasks at the same time. Our clients have pretty  specific requirements also. Fortunately I have much support from my boss, my team lead and teammates! I have a safe space to openly share my ideas, learn from others and develop professionally. LittleLives is not only a company, it’s a Little Family too.

Of course, I love children and feel very happy when working with schools.

How would you describe your role as a Storyteller?

As a Storyteller, I paint schools and parents a clear picture for them to understand our objectives, benefits and values, which are for the benefit of the students.

What's a typical day at work like for you? What professional skills do you get to flex when at work!

I would say I don’t have a very standard work day :))). Of course main tasks like preparing and executing marketing campaigns and working on social media content remain. But for each campaign, I design a different content strategy that is attractive and clear to my target audience.

What has been your most rewarding moment as a Storyteller so far? What has been your favorite / most meaningful project in LittleLives to date?

I feel most happy when I complete a project, a campaign or an event and know that my target audience loves my content.

My most meaningful project is LittleHearts! ❤️This allowed me the chance to meet so many lovely teachers and children.

Have there been any weird / challenging moments at work?

Yes, of course. Luckily I have my supportive teammates to overcome the challenges <3
